We have recently registered a soccer club. The procedure went through the local lfa executive as well as through a general meeting where clubs constituting a quorum was present. No objections was made to our application. All clubs present excepted our application to be registered as a new club. Now after 2 weeks one of the clubs which was present wish to have our membership revoked because we only registered 7 players in the club. This after we told the lfa executive we would only be playing during the new 2010/2011 season. Is there any law in SAFA which cover us as a club or do we need to engage in legal battles (which we do not want to do) in order to let the decision stand to recognize us as a club? Where in the SAFA constitution does it stand a soccer club has to have 2 senior teams as well as a junior team before they can be recognized as a new club? Please help!!!!
