SAFA Lotto Coaching Program

The South African Football Assciation(SAFA) in partnership with the National Lottery are forging ahead with an empowerment project for football coaches countrywide. The project was launched last year August with Mpulanga and the
Eastren
Cape as the first two provinces to receive training from qualified coaching instructors from SAFA's Coaching Education Department .
Coaching Instructors Steve Coetzee and Elvis Mhlongo conducted Introductory coaching course at SAFA Ehlanzeni in Nelspruit, and Bohlabela in Bushbuckridge; Desmond Lewis and Urban De Kock were responsible for SAFA Cacadu in Grahamstown.
The 2008 phase one traning project includes the Nelson Mandela Bay in Port Elizabeth which took place from 21st – 24th February, the training program for SAFA Amathole scheduled for the 27-01 March has been postponed to a date still to be announced, and the next training program will be at the SAFA Gert Sibande Region in Piet Retief from the 6th-09th March.
