The South African National Development Team will face Zimbabwe in the semi-finals of the COSAFA Senior Challenge. The South African side beat Angola two-nil on Monday afternoon (26 October) in Bulawayo, while Zimbabwe ousted Botswana one-nil to advance to the last four. Lennox Bacela of Santos and Oupa Manyisa of Orlando Pirates scored for South Africa.

Zimbabwe and South Africa will meet on Wednesday (28 October) in Harare. Kick off is at 15h00. On Sunday (25 October) Zambia and Mozambique booked their places in the semi-final after defeating Namibia and Malawi respectively. The winners will proceed to the final scheduled to be played on Sunday, 01 November in Harare.
